Donate Life Month

In America, more than 100,000 people are on the waiting list to receive a donated organ, yet on average only 30,000 transplants are performed annually.  More than 6,000 people die each year while waiting.
Like blood donation, most people don't tend to give the topic of organ donation much serious thought... until they, or a loved one, is in need of such.  As difficult as it is to contemplate events surrounding death, organ donation could provide a bright silver lining to the loss of a loved one by saving the life of another.  Consider carefully becoming a donor.  For more information, visit www.donatelife.net.
